Two weeks ago a killer house on one of the HD channels which almost made me stare – The house had touchscreen controls and performed a decent job making it all work. Almost every kitchen appliance was centrally controlled and even silly things like the fridge (including ice maker) and gazebo roof were accessible from the many panels in the house.

I’ve been excited by devices for controlling lights for a while now but seeing automation of this level, it was sensational and I want everything I saw now.
I often day dream of making the superhome that we live in (slight exageration) do cool things along the lines of running a bath by just asking the house to or reminding us of obligations as we leave the house. Many things are a ways in terms of general accessibility (it should be noted that some people in the forums have made it work) nevertheless things for instance music which can be changed over the internet are well within reach and affordable today. I think I need to convince my other half... then I’m sure she’ll just love the site where it all started: Z-Wave home automation

Nothing beats Zwave

It’s pretty well known that for devices related to automation I pay a lot of attention to any recent items coming out from consortiums like Power Control Systems and Inc.

Nearly all of the recent items coming out are not really as revolutionary as evolutionary since they had been created before working with currently accessible off-the-shelf parts but instead now they’re offered as a clean little package. One other thing is now you don’t require an electrical engineering degree to understand how it works.

Certainly there exist a few similarities among the product lineups. For instance, not one of the technologies use portable items as RF relays, and almost all products use wireless communication in some way. Looking deeper however, things become more a bit complex – Rather than struggle to explain it at this point and make mistakes, a site like this ISY-99i forum is better at showcasing the divergences.

So if you’re having any visions relating to methods to bring in sufficient money to cover the recent compulsion, for pete’s sake let me know!
