Scoping my fusion of media room against house automation …

Switching focus from domotics to home cinemas is hardly that big of a evolution bearing in mind lots of folks (including me) probably began the curiosity for control of lights via a harmony remote to make the uber-cool theatre room setup complete. We found that the Harmony controllers have been a miracle and we now have one for each one of our sets. Since we don’t watch that non-PVR style of watching at all, it seems there’s almost always what seemed like many things to turn on and it made me so frustrated picking up one control followed by the next one until things were setup, before we have to go backwards on the procedure once the show was finished.

The other thing is, the integration of lighting control and home theatres is getting closer each time I check with some of the respected manufacturers releasing infared integration from your automation network recently and so you can now perform events such as commanding a mp3 system that’s on a different floor of the condo with only one’s RF house controls. It’s exciting, although it’s clarified in more detail here: Insteon iPhone when compared to some technology sites so it’s a key site to learn from.

You can tell he is seriously excited when reviewing this stuff.

We watched a killer house on the news which probably made me salivate – They had used lighting control and performed a thorough job of having it be impressive. Each door was thinking on its own and even things like the phones as well as the bathroom plasmas were fully integrated.

We’ve used devices for controlling lights for years but I had never seen something this advanced, it was sensational and I want everything I saw now.

We talk about having our house more automated so it can like following me with music through the house or checking our grocery list for items we’re missing. Although these situations are still several years in terms of general accessibility (despite the fact that some average people are in the process of it) nevertheless things like environment modes which can be changed over the internet should be locally available and economical recently. This week I’m going to win over the wife... at which point she can hold responsible the place where it all started: Insteon Controller
