My night got me thinking

We watched a huge building on one of the HD channels that totally made me want to copy it – Everywhere they had installed Zigbee and performed a pretty decent job of putting the pieces together. Almost every light was thinking on its own and I think even the car starters and heated floors were controlled.
I’ve been excited by Zigbee for a while now but seeing a dream house like this, it was amazing and truly remarkable.
We talk about letting my house do cool things such as running a bath by just asking the house to or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. Some of these things are most realistically a couple years in the future (it should be noted that some people in the forums are doing it) despite this more practical items for instance lighting control for different moods or events are ubiquitous and reasonably priced today. One more thing to do: persuade the wife- following which I’m sure she’ll just love the link that got me interested: ISY-99i

Re-trying my inclusion of theatre rooms despite having home automation .

Transitioning from automation of your home over into in-house theatres is not that big of a conversion bearing in mind several users (including me) probably kicked off the quest for mood lighting via a remote control to make the uber-cool movie room replica complete. I feel the Logitech Harmony remotes have turned out to be a critical item and we now own one for each one of the televisions. Since I almost never watch that non-PVR thing at all, it felt like there was always way too many devices to turn on which drove me crazy using one remote and then the next in line until things were setup, before we have to go backwards on the method once we were done.

Speaking of remotes, the crossover of items from Zwave and entertainment is becoming more real each time I check with quite a few of the more innovating companies selling IR management from a automation network now and so one can now do actions we couldn’t do before like commanding a music player that’s across the home using only your remote house tool. Many possibilities, although everything is explained in more of an easy to understand fashion here Home automation products when compared to most blogs so it’s absolutely a informative spot which is worth checking out.
The writer there is entirely too eager when reviewing this stuff.
