2009 is the year of remote controlled curtains

Just like many technologies related to house automation I really like some of the new releases produced from consortiums such as the Z-Wave alliance and the Z-Wave alliance.
Many of these recent devices produced aren’t so much novel as they would seem because they has been accomplished before working with existing readily available stuff but now they are available as a nice set. Another perk is you won’t need a complicated circuit diagram to figure it out.

Certainly there exist numerous parallels with the technologies involved. For instance, not one of the product lineups use cordless items as signal relays, and they all use RF one way or another. Looking deeper still, it gets complicated – I could venture to express it now and make mistakes, there’s a site here Insteon review does a good job of highlighting some of the contrast points.
Now if you have any legal ideas relating to ways for me to pull together sufficient funds to make up for my latest dependence, don’t hesitate to share!

My call with Quinn got me started !

Last night was a killer house on extreme home makeover which probably made me salivate – The house had whole-home automation and did a really fantastic job of having it be impressive. Nearly every fireplace had a remote control and since this was an extreme case the dishwasher and hot tub were part of the system.
I always liked devices for controlling lights for what seems like forever but I had never seen a dream house like this, it was sensational and truly remarkable.
I always talk about making my house do cool things such as following me with music through the house or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. Although these situations are most realistically a couple years from now (it should be noted that some houses have done it) though some more pragmatic goals for example lighting and music that can be remotely controlled are ubiquitous and economical this year. Now it’s just up to me to convince the significant other... after which she can focus her energy on the place that got me started on all this: Insteon iPhone
