I should let people know that for devices related to domotics my wallet is at the mercy of most of the recent releases being released by consortiums like SmartLabs and the Zigbee Alliance.
Nearly all of these latest products being released shouldn’t be considered so much new as they appear because they was accomplished before working with available readily available devices but for those starting out they’re accessible as a nice set. As a side benefit these kits don’t need a 6 page schematic to understand how it works.
A few comparisons show us many parallels among the major players. As an example, few of them use cordless products as RF repeaters, and it seems like all use RF someway. When investigating further still, things become interesting – Rather than endeavor to outline it myself and mess it up, this place Home automation products does a good job of showcasing some of the differentiators.

There are weeks I am apathetic about my workplace, but sometimes the travel coming in is all it takes to drive me to retire early. One in three are poor drivers with hardly any concentration to driving. As if that wasn’t enough, what happens next? I hit the stupid coffee driving into the parking lot...
Worst day ever.
