Dreaming about my consolidation of intense gaming against remote control lighting

Migrating starting with automation of your home to home theatres shouldn’t be that big of a conversion taking into account several people (myself included) probably began the journey for lighting control using a remote control to make the full theatre room replica ideal. We found that the Harmony series of controllers have been a favorite item and we now got one for each of our house’s plasmas. Since I just don’t watch that non-PVR thing any more, there’s constantly way too many entertainment systems to switch on and it wasted my time using the first remote control followed by the next in line until things were setup, only to go backwards on the process once the show was finished.

While smart remotes are here now, the integration of automation technologies and our ‘relaxing’ technologies is getting nearer every week with many of the more respected vendors selling infared control from your powerline system now and because of this anyone with an interest can do actions we couldn’t do before like controlling a mp3 system which could be at the far end of the home utilizing the RF Zwave controls. Can you tell I’m excited? It’s neat, although it is described more completely here: Insteon vs X10 than other home automation sites so it’s for sure a good destination to see.
The writer there is dangerously eager when reviewing automation devices.

Last night was a home on one of the HD channels which probably made me want to copy it – They installed lighting control and performed a really fantastic job making it all work. Almost every overhead light was thinking on its own and since this was an extreme case the fridge (including ice maker) plus the shower steam generator were accessible from the controllers everywhere.
I’ve been a fan of the clapper for what seems like forever but I had never seen systems like this, it was wicked and truly remarkable.
I’ve thought about making my house do fancy tasks like turning on the shower in the morning or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. maybe some stuff is a ways in the future (regardless of this some groups could do it) despite this more realistic things such as music for different moods or events are well within reach and economical today. When I get home I will win over my other half... at which point I’m sure she’ll just love the page which made me interested in the first place: Insteon switch
