My night got me thinking …

We watched a sweet house on abc that seriously made me stare – They had used Insteon and performed a pretty decent job of putting the pieces together. Every sprinkler was thinking on its own and I didn’t see this coming but the showers as well as the bathroom plasmas were eerily controlled.
I have loved Zwave for a long time but I had never seen automation of this level, it was amazing and I want everything I saw now.
I always talk about letting our home do neat stuff like adjusting the temperature for each room or checking our grocery list for items we’re missing. Ok most realistically a couple years from now (despite the fact that there are people that could do it) on the other hand items like lighting control at the touch of a button should be locally available and easy(er) on the pocket lately. This week I’m going to sway the lady writing the cheques... at which point she can focus her energy on the site where I found the information: ISY-99i forum

Evaluating our incorporation of entertainment centers despite having automation technology …..

Transitioning starting with domotics over to home entertainment isn’t very big of a change in view of the fact that several individuals (myself included) likely kicked off their quest for mood lighting using a remote control to make the uber-cool movie room experience ideal. I feel the Logitech Harmony clickers have been a key device and we now got one for each one of the tv sets. Especially since we don’t do the non-PVR style of watching any more, it seems there’s almost always a bunch of receivers and the like to switch on which wasted my time picking up the first changer then the next until everything was ready, before we have to reverse the procedure once our game was finished.

With that in mind, the combination of lighting control and our ‘relaxing’ technologies is becoming nearer each time I check with many innovating manufacturers offering infared management from a house system as of late and as a result one can now perform things we couldn’t do before like turning on and off a music player which is on a different floor of the condo having one’s remote home network device. There’s a ton to learn, and things are clarified better at this Insteon site Insteon iPhone when compared to other Zwave sites so it is definitely a good place which simplifies things amazingly well.
It’s useful because he is dangerously eager when discussing this stuff.
