A commercial made it so I couldn’t sleep

We watched a sweet house on that show after Lost that totally made me want to copy it – They had used and did a pretty decent job making it all work. Close to every light and fan knew what the rest of the house was doing and even the showers as well as the hot tub were controlled.

Home automation concept

My wife and I have liked the clapper for what seems like forever but I hadn’t even dreamed about a system of this caliber, it was inspiring and I want everything I saw now.
I often day dream of having our house more automated so it can such as running a bath by just asking the house to or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. maybe some stuff is a ways in the future (regardless of this certain rich folks could do it) nonetheless things like lighting for parties or relaxing have come down in price and easy(er) on the pocket lately. Now it’s just up to me to sway the significant other... then she can blame the page that got me interested: Zwave vs Insteon

Initiating the integration of home entertainment despite having remote control lighting !

by on Jun.10, 2009, under Home Automation, insteon, lighting control, zwave

Transitioning starting with lighting control into home theatres shouldn’t be that much of a jump considering lots of folks (not counting us) probably kicked off their exploration for mood lighting using a remote control to make the super cool in-house theatre setup perfect. Maybe it’s just me but the Harmony series of remote controls have been a critical item and we have one for each of the tv’s. Considering we don’t watch that non-PVR style of watching at all, it seems there’s constantly at least a couple receivers and the like to switch on which I hated - grabbing the first clicker then the next one until all the devices were on, just to go backwards on the procedure after whatever I was watching was done.

While smart remotes are here now, the mixture of automation and home entertainment is moving closer each day with almost all of the more prevalent producers showcasing infared commands from any domotics network as of late and because of this anyone with an interest can then do actions we couldn’t do before like scripting a receiver which is across the apartment utilizing just your RF house device. Can you tell I’m excited? It’s neat, although things are illustrated in more detail here ISY-99 Insteon when contrasted against most Zwave blogs so it’s absolutely a good site which simplifies things amazingly well.
The writer there is way too enthusiastic regarding this stuff.
