Just like many items associated with home of the future type stuff I watch pretty carefully any recent products coming out by vendors such as Home Automation Inc and Power Control Systems.
Many of the recent products coming out aren’t actually as revolutionary as evolutionary due to the fact that these things could all be done other ways using existing basic component parts but instead now they’re accessible as a tidy set. That and these kits don’t feel like you need a complicated circuit diagram to figure it out.

Looking closer we see several resemblances with the brands. One such similarity, not one of the product lineups use handheld remote items as message boosters, and it seems like all use radio frequency in some way.
