Grrrr, I really dislike crashes on my route!

Some weeks I don’t hate working for the man, but some days the trip to work is enough to make me want to move far away. Just so many brutal sheeple with a passing interest in thoughts to the thing in front of them. Making things worse, I then tipped my Timmies driving in to the parking lot...
Grrrr.

My conversation with Ted got me thinking …..

Two weeks ago a house on holmes on homes which almost caused me to beg my wife – Everywhere they had installed touchscreen controls and did a thorough job of having it be impressive. Every light was integrated and stuff like the car starters plus the robot vacuum were controlled by the house.
I had been curious about X10 for what seems like forever but thinking about automation so integrated, it was sensational and I’m still in shock.
I’ve thought about letting our house do cool things along the lines of adjusting the temperature for each room or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. Some of this stuff is a ways in the future (although there are people that have made it work) but more practical items like environment modes at the touch of a button are ubiquitous and easy(er) on the pocket lately. One more thing to do: convince my other half...... after which she can blame the page where it all started: ISY-99 Insteon
