Last night was a sweet house on that house makeover show that totally made me want to copy it – They installed automatic sprinklers and did a so-so job making it all work. Nearly every overhead light was thinking on its own and stuff like the dog door and pool were controlled.
I have loved basic home automation for years but I had never seen a system of this caliber, it was crazy and truly remarkable.
I’ve thought about letting our apartment more automated so it can along the lines of running a bath by just asking the house to or reminding us of obligations as we leave the house. Some of these things are most realistically a couple years from now (it should be noted that some houses have done it) though things such as lighting control for different moods or events are available and easy(er) on the pocket recently. This week I’m going to convince the significant other... following which I’m sure she’ll just love the site which made me interested in the first place: Insteon iPhone
