Dreaming about our combination of home theatre combined with automation

Branching out from home automation into home cinemas isn’t much of a conversion taking into account the majority of people likely started their curiosity for lighting control through a remote control to make the full theatre room replica ideal. I feel the Harmony series of remote controls have turned out to be a marvel and we have one for virtually all of the tv sets. Since we never do the non-PVR thing any more, there is almost always what seemed like many items to turn on which I hated - using one changer and then the subsequent one until it was ready, just to reverse the process once the show was over.

The other thing is, the merger of lighting control and entertainment is becoming increasingly common each week with some of the more respected producers releasing UHF commands from your automation network as of late and so you can then perform events we couldn’t do before like turning on and off a mp3 system which could be at the far end of the home utilizing only your remote home network controls. So much to think about, though it is illustrated in more of an easy to understand fashion at this Insteon site Insteon iPhone when contrasted against most review sites so it’s for sure a key location to see.
I love that he is borderline psychotic when discussing home automation.
Who loves Creston

Like most items considered to be automation I’m a big fan of most of the new stuff for sale by places such as the Z-Wave alliance and Home Automation Inc.
Nearly all of the recent products for sale are not really as big a deal as they claim since this stuff likely had been accomplished previously utilizing other readily available products but for beginners they’re available as a clean little package. One other thing is you won’t feel like you need a 6 page schematic to get it working.

There are a few correlations among the technologies involved. One such similarity, few of the product lineups use cordless devices as RF repeaters, and nearly all devices use wireless communication one way or another. When investigating further however, it becomes more complicated – I could attempt to express it now and make mistakes, a site like this ISY-99 has pages dedicated to highlighting any discrepancies.
Now if you have any legal ideas on methods to bring in sufficient dough to sponsor my latest addiction, for pete’s sake let us know!
