How frustrating, I daydream to avoid pileups on the way in!

Most weeks I don’t hate my day job, but sometimes the travel alone is all that’s needed to force me to resign. A million poor drivers with secondary concerns of concentration to the road. Adding to this, what happens next? I knocked over my coffee coming into the parking lot...
So this is life.
Considering the intersection of home cinema against house automation …..

Moving from automation over to home movie rooms isn’t very big of a leap considering countless people (not counting us) probably started their journey for mood lighting using a harmony remote to make the uber-cool room-turned-theatre replica ideal. Maybe it’s just me but the touchscreen remotes are a favorite item and we purchased one for virtually all of our house’s televisions. Especially since we just don’t do the ‘live’ tv thing anymore, it seems there’s always what seemed like many entertainment systems to flick on and it took so much time grabbing one changer followed by the next one until things were setup, before we have to repeat the procedure after the movie was done.

With that in mind, the commingling of items from Zwave and our ‘relaxing’ technologies is becoming more real by the time I check with many of the popular home automation places releasing IR integration from a home system as of late and as a result anyone with an interest can do stuff we couldn’t do before like commanding a receiver that is across the apartment utilizing only the handheld Zwave controls. Very cool overall, though everything is explained more thoroughly at this Insteon site ISY-99i when compared to other Zwave sites so it is definitely a informative location which won’t make you feel dumb.
It’s apparent that he is borderline psychotic regarding Insteon.
