Planning my consolidation of theatre rooms combined with automation technology …

Going from automation of your home to home entertainment isn’t much of a evolution considering many folks likely started the quest for mood lighting through a remote to make the full movie theatre setup ideal. We found that the Harmony remote controls are a miracle and we now bought one for each of our house’s tv sets. Taking into consideration that we just don’t do the live programming thing anymore, it seems there’s almost always way too many items to turn on and it took so much time picking up one control followed by the next one until it was ready, before we have to repeat the procedure once the show was done.
That said, the integration of lighting control with home theatres is moving increasingly common each day with most prevalent vendors selling infrared integration from your home automation system now and so one can then do things we couldn’t do before like scripting a stereo which is on a different floor of the house having your remote house controls. How frustrating, I don’t like traffic jams on the way to work!

There are days I like my day job, but once in a while the traffic to work is all it takes to make me want to quit. Just so many stupid sheeple with a passing interest in thoughts to the road. As if that wasn’t enough, I then spilled the drink in my car on the last corner in to the stall... So this is life.
