Talking to Frank made it hard to think about anything else …..

I recently saw this mansion on EHM which literally made me want to copy it – They had used Zwave and did a thorough job of having it be impressive. Almost every light was centrally controlled and amazingly the car starters as well as the shower steam generator were accessible from the many panels in the house.
My passion has been basic home automation for a while now but thinking about systems like this, it was inspiring and I want everything I saw now.
We talk about having our condo do cool things along the lines of announcing caller ID anywhere in the house or reminding us of obligations as we leave the house. Although these situations are still pretty far in terms of general accessibility (despite the fact that some average people have made it work) despite this some more pragmatic goals such as lighting and music at the touch of a button are ubiquitous and reasonably priced recently. In order to make this happen I need to convince my other half...... then I’m sure she’ll just love the page that helped me learn about this stuff: X10 home automation

Some days, I really dislike stop and go traffic on my route!

Most weeks I am apathetic about my job, but sometimes the drive to work is all that’s needed to cause me to move far away. There are lousy people driving and secondary concerns of concentration to the pavement. To top it off, what happens next? I tipped my tea driving in to the stall...
Seriously.
