A commercial got me planning

Two weeks ago this one house on holmes on homes that seriously made me want to copy it – The house had touchscreen controls and performed a so-so job of putting the pieces together. Nearly every thing that possibly could knew what the rest of the house was doing and even the showers and bathroom plasmas were controlled.
We’ve used Zwave for forever but I had never seen automation of this level, it was amazing and I want everything I saw now.
Sometimes I dream of letting our home more automated so it can along the lines of following me with music through the house or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. maybe some stuff is still pretty far in the future (regardless of this some people have done it) nevertheless stuff for example environment modes for different moods or events are ubiquitous and economical recently. In order to make this happen I need to persuade my financial advisor... following which she can focus her energy on the link where it all started: Insteon thermostat

Evaluating my marriage of gaming room against whole home automation !

Branching out starting with domotics to in-house theatres is not that much of a stretch in view of the fact that lots of individuals (myself included) almost certainly kicked off the exploration for mood lighting using a remote to make the perception of movie room setup ideal. In my mind the computer programmed remotes are a godsend and we purchased one for each one of our tv’s. When you consider that I don’t watch that live programming style of watching anymore, it seems there’s constantly at least a couple things to flick on and it made me so frustrated using one changer followed by the next in line until things were setup, only to reverse the procedure after the show was done.

While smart remotes are here now, the integration of lighting control with our ‘relaxing’ technologies is getting more real every week with quite a few of the more innovating producers making UHF management from a powerline system recently and as a result anyone with an interest can now do events like turning on and off a receiver which is clear across the house using only one’s RF automation controls. So much to think about, and things are described in more detail here Insteon iPhone when contrasted against many technology sites so it’s a good spot to learn from.
It’s useful because he is seriously excited regarding home automation.
