Planning the crossover points of gaming room against lighting control

Transitioning starting with automation of your home over to home entertainment shouldn’t be much of a change considering the majority of individuals likely started the exploration for control of lights via a remote control to make the super cool room-turned-theatre setup just right. Maybe it’s just me but the Harmony series of remotes have been a marvel and we now have one for all of the tv watching areas. When you consider that I don’t watch that non-PVR thing anymore, there’s always a million different entertainment systems to switch on which I hated - picking up the first clicker followed by the next until all the devices were on, just to repeat the process after our game was finished.

Speaking of remotes, the mixture of lighting control with home theatres is getting closer every time I check with quite a few of the more well known vendors offering infared commands from your powerline network now and so one can perform stuff like networking a music player which is in an adjacent room of the place using just one’s wireless house tool. Very cool overall, though it’s clarified more thoroughly here X10 switches when compared to some blogs so it is definitely a key site to read through.
The writer there is way too enthusiastic when discussing automation devices.
