My night got me thinking

We watched a huge building on one of the HD channels that totally made me want to copy it – Everywhere they had installed Zigbee and performed a pretty decent job of putting the pieces together. Almost every light was thinking on its own and I think even the car starters and heated floors were controlled.
I’ve been excited by Zigbee for a while now but seeing a dream house like this, it was amazing and truly remarkable.
We talk about letting my house do cool things such as running a bath by just asking the house to or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. Some of these things are most realistically a couple years in the future (it should be noted that some people in the forums are doing it) despite this more practical items for instance lighting control for different moods or events are ubiquitous and reasonably priced today. One more thing to do: persuade the wife- following which I’m sure she’ll just love the link that got me interested: ISY-99i
