My call with Quinn got me planning !

Two weeks ago a home on the news that totally made my jaw drop – The house had Zwave and did a thorough job of the implementation. Nearly every ceiling fan was part of the automation and stuff like the phones plus the arcade room were accessible from the many panels in the house.
My passion has been Zigbee for what seems like forever but I’d never seen systems like this, it was wicked and I’m still in shock.
I’ve thought about having my house do fancy tasks like adjusting the temperature for each room or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. I’ll admit some stuff is most realistically a couple years in the future (despite the fact that some average people have made it work) but more realistic things like lighting control which can be changed over the internet are available and economical recently. When I get home I will convince the wife... at which point she can focus her energy on the place where it all started: Insteon review
