A commercial got me started …

We watched a huge building on the discovery channel that seriously made me want to copy it – Everywhere they had installed automatic showers and had done a excellent job setting things up. Each fireplace knew what the other was doing and stuff like the fridge (including ice maker) plus the gazebo roof were accessible from the controllers everywhere.
My wife and I have liked X10 for a while now but seeing a house like this, it was wicked and I want everything I saw now.
We talk about letting our apartment more automated so it can like running a bath by just asking the house to or voice alerting us to someone at the door. maybe some stuff is still pretty far in the future (despite the fact that certain rich folks have made it work) but items such as lighting control at the touch of a button have come down in price and economical today. The last step is to persuade my financial advisor... then she can focus her energy on the place where it all started: ISY-99
