There was a sweet house on abc which almost caused me to beg my wife – It was crazy Zwave and performed a excellent job of putting the pieces together. It seemed like every overhead light knew what the rest of the house was doing and even things like the dishwasher and hot tub were talking to each other.
We’ve used X10 for forever but I’d never seen automation so integrated, it was crazy and truly remarkable.
I always talk about having our condo do fancy tasks like following me with music through the house or voice alerting us to someone at the door. maybe some stuff is a bit out in the future (despite the fact that some people in the forums could do it) nonetheless items for example environment modes that can be remotely controlled should be locally available and easy(er) on the pocket lately.
