Something got me planning …..

I recently saw a home on the discovery channel which seriously caused me to beg my wife – They were using motorized drapes and performed a so-so job making it all work. Almost every door was integrated and even things like the outside sprinklers and pool were part of the system.
My wife and I have liked the clapper for a while now but I hadn’t even dreamed about something like this, it was amazing and truly remarkable.
Sometimes I dream of letting our apartment do fancy tasks along the lines of adjusting the temperature for each room or voice alerting us to someone at the door. Many things are still pretty far in terms of general accessibility (although some average people are in the process of it) still more realistic things for example environment modes for parties or relaxing should be locally available and inexpensive today. This week I’m going to plead my case to my lovely wife... then she can hold responsible the site which made me interested in the first place: X10 home automation
