Last night was a home on one of the HD channels which probably made me want to copy it – They installed lighting control and performed a really fantastic job making it all work. Almost every overhead light was thinking on its own and since this was an extreme case the fridge (including ice maker) plus the shower steam generator were accessible from the controllers everywhere.
I’ve been a fan of the clapper for what seems like forever but I had never seen systems like this, it was wicked and truly remarkable.
I’ve thought about making my house do fancy tasks like turning on the shower in the morning or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. maybe some stuff is a ways in the future (regardless of this some groups could do it) despite this more realistic things such as music for different moods or events are well within reach and economical today. When I get home I will win over my other half... at which point I’m sure she’ll just love the page which made me interested in the first place: Insteon switch
