Re-trying my fusion of home theatre combined with Zwave !

Transitioning from automation over into home cinemas isn’t that big of a stretch in view of the fact that most individuals probably began the exploration for mood lighting using a remote control to make the full theatre room experience just right. In my mind the Harmony series of controllers are a key device and we own one for each one of our LCDs. When you consider that I almost never watch that non-PVR thing any more, there’s perpetually a ton of items to turn on and it wasted my time picking up one control then the next one until things were setup, only to reverse the process after whatever I was watching was completed.

The other thing is, the incorporation of technologies like Insteon and entertainment is getting more realistic each day with almost all respected manufacturers prototyping UHF transmit and receive from a powerline system recently and because of this you can perform stuff like commanding a radio clear across the house having your handheld house device. Neat stuff, though the details are described with more of a tutorial style at Zwave products than other blogs so it’s for sure a good place to learn from.
You can tell he is almost scarily passionate when reviewing automation devices.
