Chatting with Joe made it so I couldn’t sleep .

Last night was a house on the discovery channel which probably made me want to copy it – They installed Insteon and performed a thorough job setting things up. Each door could be controlled and since this was an extreme case the garage doors plus the gazebo roof were controlled.
I have loved basic home automation for what seems like forever but I’d never seen something like this, it was sensational and truly remarkable.
Sometimes I dream of making our house do cool things like following me with music through the house or voice alerting us to someone at the door. Ok still several years in the future (although some houses could do it) still more realistic things such as lighting which can be changed over the internet should be locally available and easy(er) on the pocket now. When I get home I will persuade my financial advisor... then she can hold responsible the site that got me interested: Insteon home automation
