Last night was this one house on extreme home makeover which seriously caused me to drool – Everywhere they had installed Insteon and performed a pretty decent job of putting the pieces together. Each light knew what the rest of the house was doing and get this- the litter boxes plus the arcade room were accessible from the many panels in the house.
I’ve been excited by the clapper for years but I hadn’t even dreamed about automation so integrated, it was wicked and I’m still in shock.
I always talk about having our apartment do fancy tasks such as running a bath by just asking the house to or reminding us of obligations as we leave the house. Many things are still pretty far from now (despite the fact that some average people are doing it) nonetheless some more pragmatic goals for instance lighting for parties or relaxing are well within reach and inexpensive lately. I think I need to plead my case to my lovely wife... at which point she can focus her energy on the site where I found the information: Home automation products
