Talking to Frank made it hard to think about anything else

I recently saw a home on that house makeover show which almost made my jaw drop – They had used motorized plasmas in the kitchen and performed a pretty decent job of the implementation. Close to every light and fan knew what the other was doing and I think even the car starters plus the bathroom plasmas were controlled.
I had been curious about Insteon for years but I’d never seen a house like this, it was amazing and truly remarkable.
Sometimes I dream of having our home do cool things such as running a bath by just asking the house to or voice alerting us to someone at the door. Some of these things are most realistically a couple years in the future (it should be noted that some groups are doing it) however stuff for example lighting which can be changed over the internet are well within reach and affordable now. In order to make this happen I need to sway the significant other... at which point she can hold responsible the site which made me interested in the first place: Zwave vs Insteon
