With regards to items associated with house automation I’m a big fan of most of the recent products being released through vendors such as the Z-Wave alliance and SmartLabs.

What’s interesting is that the recent products being released are not actually as as much of a movement as one would imagine since they likely had been accomplished previously utilizing available standard products but nowadays they’re offered as a nice kit.
