With regards to items considered to be home automation my wallet is at the mercy of all the recent stuff created by places like SmartLabs and Power Control Systems.
Some of these recent devices created aren’t so much big a deal as they claim in that this stuff could be built before utilizing existing basic component products but nowadays they’re presented as a clean little set. Another perk is now you don’t feel like you need fluke testers around the house to set things up.

Upon closer inspection there are a few resemblances with the vendor offerings. One such similarity, almost none of them use battery-operated items as signal boosters, and it’s hard to find one that doesn’t use radio waves as a backup.
