I recently saw a house on that house makeover show which probably made me stare – It was crazy home automation and had done a thorough job setting things up. Close to every light knew what the other was doing and since this was an extreme case the showers as well as the gazebo roof were fully integrated.
I always liked basic home automation for what seems like forever but I hadn’t even dreamed about something this advanced, it was amazing and truly remarkable.
I’ve thought about having our condo do cool things such as adjusting the temperature for each room or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. Some of this stuff is most realistically a couple years in terms of general accessibility (although there are people that are doing it) though stuff such as lighting and music for different moods or events are well within reach and inexpensive now. I think I need to convince the wife...... after which she can hold responsible the link where it all started: Insteon switch
