Two weeks ago a killer house on HGTV which seriously made my jaw drop – They had used domotics and performed a decent job of having it be impressive. Every light and fan knew what the rest of the house was doing and stuff like the dishwasher as well as the hot tub were part of the system.
We’ve gotten a kick out of X10 for ages but we’d not attempted something like this, it was amazing and truly remarkable.
I always talk about making our home do cool things like announcing caller ID anywhere in the house or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. I’ll admit some stuff is a bit out in the future (regardless of this some people could do it) nevertheless some more pragmatic goals for instance music for different moods or events are ubiquitous and inexpensive this year. When I get home I will win over the wife...... after which I’m sure she’ll just love the site where it all started: Home automation iPhone
