I recently saw a killer house on the news that totally caused me to beg my wife – They had used automatic sprinklers and had done a so-so job of putting the pieces together. Nearly every door was integrated and I think even the phones plus the gazebo roof were controlled.
We’ve used Zwave for years but thinking about automation so integrated, it was inspiring and I’m still in shock.
I’ve thought about making my house do cool things such as following me with music through the house or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. Many things are a bit out in the future (although some people are in the process of it) however items such as atmosphere settings which can be changed over the internet are well within reach and reasonably priced today. This week I’m going to persuade my other half...... then she can hold responsible the site where it all started: Home automation products
