There was a sweet house on abc which almost caused me to drool – They had used Zwave and did a thorough job of the implementation. Close to every overhead light was integrated and even the outside sprinklers plus the bathroom plasmas were accessible from the many panels in the house.

I always talk about letting our apartment do cool things such as announcing caller ID anywhere in the house or checking our grocery list for items we’re missing. I’ll admit some stuff is a bit out in the future (it should be noted that certain rich folks are in the process of it) however more realistic things like environment modes at the touch of a button are available and affordable this year. The last step is to convince the significant other... at which point she can hold responsible the place where I found the information: Home automation iPhone
