Like most technologies associated with home automation my wallet is at the mercy of recent items developed from companies like Power Control Systems and Power Control Systems.
What’s interesting is that these recent devices developed aren’t so much big a deal as they claim in that they had been created before utilizing existing basic component devices but nowadays they are available as a organized kit. Another perk is these kits don’t need fluke testers around the house to set things up.

There are several correlations amongst the major players. As an example, not one of them use portable devices as signal relays, and it seems like all use RF in some way. Digging deeper though, things get more interesting – I’d rather not struggle to describe it here and make a bunch of errors, there’s a site here ISY-99i forum does a good job of showcasing the differentiators.
Now if anyone has any visions for methods to earn some cash to make up for the latest compulsion, comment below and let me know!
