I recently saw this one house on extreme home makeover that totally caused me to drool – They had used X10 and did a decent job of putting the pieces together. Almost every overhead light knew what the rest of the house was doing and I didn’t see this coming but the dishwasher plus the heated floors were controlled by the house.
I’ve been excited by X10 for years but I’d never seen systems like this, it was crazy and truly remarkable.
I always talk about making our home more automated so it can such as turning on the shower in the morning or checking our grocery list for items we’re missing. maybe some stuff is a bit out from now (it should be noted that some groups are in the process of it) though things for instance lighting control for different moods or events are ubiquitous and easy(er) on the pocket this year. I really should persuade the significant other... after which she can focus her energy on the page that got me started on all this: X10 home automation
