There was a house on one of the HD channels that totally caused me to beg my wife – The house had X10 and did a pretty decent job of the implementation. It seemed like every ceiling fan was integrated and I think even the gate plus the shower steam generator were eerily controlled.
I’ve used Zwave for forever but I had never seen a dream house like this, it was sensational and I want everything I saw now.
We talk about making where we’re living more automated so it can like turning on the shower in the morning or checking our grocery list for items we’re missing. Some of this stuff is still several years in terms of general accessibility (despite the fact that certain rich folks have made it work) though stuff for example environment modes for different moods or events are ubiquitous and inexpensive this year.
