Chatting with Joe made me think .

I recently saw a home on the news which probably made me salivate – Everywhere they had installed home automation and had done a excellent job setting things up. Almost every fireplace was thinking on its own and even the gate and hot tub were part of the system.
I always liked the clapper for what seems like forever but I’d never seen a house like this, it was crazy and I’m still in shock.
I often day dream of making our apartment more automated so it can along the lines of announcing caller ID anywhere in the house or voice alerting us to someone at the door. maybe some stuff is a ways from now (regardless of this there are people that could do it) on the other hand more practical items like lighting control for different moods or events are ubiquitous and economical now. In order to make this happen I need to plead my case to the lady writing the cheques- following which she can blame the site which made me interested in the first place: Z-Wave home automation
