Starting the combination of home theatre against whole home automation

Migrating from automation of your home to in-house theatres is not that much of a change in view of the fact that the majority of individuals (not counting us) probably kicked off their quest for control of lights via a remote control to make the full in-house theatre replica ideal. We found that the Harmony series of clickers have been a godsend and we now purchased one for all of our tv’s. When you consider that we almost never watch that ‘live’ tv thing at all, it seems there’s always at least a couple entertainment systems to turn on and it took so much time grabbing the first changer then the next until things were setup, just to go backwards on the process after our game was completed.

Speaking of remotes, the incorporation of items from Zwave and entertainment is getting nearer by the week with most of the prevalent home automation places offering IR commands from any domotics system now and as a result you can now perform events we couldn’t do before like scripting a receiver on a different floor of the condo utilizing just the wireless Zwave controls. I love this stuff, though the details are illustrated better here ISY-99 Insteon than some websites so it’s a informative place to see.
That guy is seriously excited when discussing Insteon.
