I love home automation toys

Like most technologies considered to be home automation I pay a lot of attention to most of the recent products for sale through places like Power Control Systems and the Zigbee Alliance.
Many of these new items for sale aren’t really as revolutionary as evolutionary because this stuff could all be accomplished previously working with currently accessible off-the-shelf products but for those starting out they are presented as a nice kit. One other thing is now you don’t need a complicated circuit diagram to figure it out.

A few comparisons show us a lot of likenesses amongst the major players. For instance, almost none of the technologies use cordless products as RF relays, and they all use radio frequency someway. When investigating further still, things become more involved – I could endeavor to explain it here and make a bunch of errors, this place Zwave lighting has good discussions analyzing some of the differences.
Now if you have good ideas on ways to earn a bit of moolah to make up for our recent compulsion, please pass it along!
