Just like many devices considered to be domotics my wallet is at the mercy of the new releases being released through places such as Power Control Systems and the Zigbee Alliance.
Nearly all of the recent devices being released aren’t so much novel as they would seem because these things has been built other ways working with existing basic component stuff but instead now they are presented as a tidy package. As a side benefit now you don’t require a complicated circuit diagram to get it working.
Looking closer we see several correlations between the various technologies. For example, none of the product lineups use portable items as message boosters, and nearly all devices use radio frequency to strengthen signals. Beyond this however, it gets involved – Rather than attempt to explain it now and make a fool of myself, there’s a site here ISY-99i is better at evaluating some of the differentiators.
