It’s pretty well known that for technologies considered to be home automation I watch pretty carefully any new products created by companies such as SmartLabs and SmartLabs.
The thing is the new devices created are not actually as big a deal as they claim because this stuff could be built other ways utilizing currently accessible standard devices but nowadays they’re offered as a prebuilt package. As a side benefit you won’t feel like you need a 6 page schematic to get it working.
Certainly there exist several resemblances among the various technologies. For instance, none of them use portable items as signal repeaters, and all the items use advanced RF in some manner.
