Everyone asks about automatic lighting

I should let people know that for technologies considered to be automation I pay a lot of attention to most of the recent products produced from places like the Zigbee Alliance and Inc.

It should be noted that the recent products produced aren’t actually as new as they appear because this stuff could all be created other ways using available readily available devices but nowadays they are accessible as a clean little package. One other thing is these kits don’t need fluke testers around the house to get it working.

Upon closer inspection there are quite a few correlations with the major players. For instance, few of the offerings use handheld remote items as RF relays, and almost all products use radio frequency someway. With other differences still, it gets involved – Rather than attempt to express it now and make mistakes, there’s a site here ISY-99 Insteon has pages dedicated to showcasing any discrepancies.

So if anyone has good ideas on tricks to bring in sufficient money to pay for my new habit, for pete’s sake let us know!
