My conversation with Ted made me fired up …

Two weeks ago a wicked place on extreme home makeover which literally made me want to copy it – They were using Zigbee and did a so-so job of putting the pieces together. Almost every door was part of the automation and since this was an extreme case the bath tubs and pool were part of the system.
I always liked Insteon for years but thinking about automation of this level, it was wicked and I want everything I saw now.
I’ve thought about making our condo more automated so it can like following me with music through the house or checking our grocery list for items we’re missing. I’ll admit some stuff is a ways from now (it should be noted that certain rich folks have made it work) nevertheless more practical items like music which can be changed over the internet are well within reach and affordable recently. One more thing to do: convince the lady writing the cheques...... at which point I’m sure she’ll just love the link that got me interested: Home automation products
