We watched a house on HGTV which almost caused me to beg my wife – They installed X10 and had done a decent job making it all work. Every window curtain was part of the automation and even the phones as well as the shower steam generator were talking to each other.
We’ve used lighting control for ages but we’d not attempted a house like this, it was amazing and I’m still in shock.
I always talk about letting our home more automated so it can such as turning on the shower in the morning or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. Ok still several years from now (regardless of this some houses are doing it) still more practical items for instance lighting and music for different moods or events are ubiquitous and affordable recently. This week I’m going to persuade the significant other...... after which she can blame the site where I found the information: Zwave lighting
