Scoping the merger of entertainment centers despite having whole home automation …..

Branching out starting with automation into home movie rooms isn’t that big of a transition bearing in mind many people (including me) probably kicked off the curiosity for mood lighting through a integrated control unit to make the uber-cool movie room experience ideal. We found that the AMX remote controls are a favorite item and we now own one for every one of the plasmas. Considering I don’t watch that live programming thing anymore, there is frequently a million different items to switch on and it I hated - using one remote control followed by the next until things were setup, only to reverse the procedure after the movie was completed.

With that in mind, the incorporation of automation and entertainment is moving nearer by the week with quite a few of the well known producers releasing IR control from your home automation network as of late and as a result anyone with an interest can then perform things we couldn’t do before like controlling a tuner that is across the apartment having just your remote Insteon device. It’s exciting, although the whole thing is illustrated better at this Insteon site Insteon when contrasted against most X10 sites so it’s for sure a good place to learn from.
I love that he is almost scarily passionate about technology.
