My talk with Bill got me planning …

Last night was this mansion on holmes on homes which seriously caused me to beg my wife – The house had Zigbee and performed a really fantastic job making it all work. Close to every light and fan knew what the rest of the house was doing and get this- the litter boxes plus the heated floors were controlled by the house.
I’ve used basic home automation for ages but I hadn’t even dreamed about a system of this caliber, it was crazy and I want everything I saw now.
I always talk about making the house do cool things along the lines of announcing caller ID anywhere in the house or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. maybe some stuff is a ways from now (although some average people are in the process of it) still more realistic things like atmosphere settings at the touch of a button are well within reach and reasonably priced today. One more thing to do: plead my case to my financial advisor... after which she can hold responsible the site where I found the information: Insteon iPhone
