As with all technologies associated with home of the future type stuff my wallet is at the mercy of the recent items produced through consortiums such as Home Automation Inc and SmartLabs.
What’s interesting is that these latest items produced aren’t really as big a deal as they claim because these things could all be done before utilizing other basic component devices but instead now they’re offered as a clean little set. As a side benefit you won’t require a complicated circuit diagram to set things up.
Upon closer inspection there are numerous similarities between the technologies involved. As an example, not one of the offerings use handheld remote products as message boosters, and they all use advanced RF in some capacity. Digging deeper still, things get involved – I’m not going to struggle to express it at this point and make mistakes, a site like this Z-Wave home automation does a good job of analyzing the contrast points.
