Beginning our crossover points of media centers with automation …..

Branching out starting with lighting control into home entertainment is not that much of a conversion taking into account countless individuals (not counting us) almost certainly started the exploration for mood lighting via a integrated control unit to make the super cool movie room experience ideal. I feel the computer programmed remote controls have turned out to be a critical item and we now use one for virtually all of our house’s televisions. When you consider that we rarely do the ‘live’ tv style of watching anymore, it felt like there was almost always a ton of things to flick on and it I hated - picking up the first control and then the next one until it was ready, just to reverse the procedure once the show was over and done with.

The other thing is, the crossover of items from Zwave with home entertainment is moving closer by the day with some respected producers showcasing IR control from any home automation system now and because of this you can now do events like controlling a receiver that is across the house with only one’s RF automation device. Can you tell I’m excited? It’s neat, though the details are explained in more detail here: ISY-99i when compared to other Zwave blogs so it is definitely a key spot which won’t make you feel dumb.
That guy is dangerously eager when discussing Insteon.
