I should let people know that for technologies associated with house automation my wallet is at the mercy of some of the new products available through companies like the Z-Wave alliance and the Zigbee Alliance.
It should be noted that the new items available shouldn’t be considered in reality as revolutionary as evolutionary due to the fact that this stuff was done other ways utilizing currently accessible basic devices but nowadays they are offered as a tidy package. Another perk is now you don’t need a 6 page schematic to make it work.

Looking closer we see many parallels between the brands.
