Something got me thinking
by on Oct.23, 2009, under Home Automation, insteon, lighting control, zwave
We watched a killer house on extreme home makeover which seriously made me want to copy it – Everywhere they had installed motorized drapes and performed a decent job making it all work. Each overhead light had a remote control and things like the litter boxes plus the pool were controlled by the house.
We’ve used basic home automation for a while now but we’d not attempted something like this, it was wicked and I’m still in shock.
I’ve thought about making the house do neat stuff along the lines of turning on the shower in the morning or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. Many things are still several years in terms of general accessibility (despite the fact that some people in the forums are doing it) however more realistic things for example music which respond to your moods are well within reach and reasonably priced recently. This week I’m going to sway the lady writing the cheques...... at which point she can focus her energy on the site that got me interested: ISY-99

My night made it hard to think about anything else !

I recently saw a home on the discovery channel which seriously made me salivate – They had used motorized drapes and did a seriously outstanding job of having it be impressive. Almost every sprinkler knew what the rest of the house was doing and even things like the garage doors plus the pool were talking to each other.
I had been curious about the clapper for ages but I hadn’t even dreamed about a system of this caliber, it was amazing and truly remarkable.
I always talk about letting our condo more automated so it can such as following me with music through the house or displaying the news in the bathroom mirror. Some of these things are still several years in terms of general accessibility (despite the fact that some groups have made it work) despite this more practical items for instance lighting control which can be changed over the internet have come down in price and inexpensive recently. When I get home I will sway the significant other... after which she can focus her energy on the link where it all started: Insteon home automation

My talk with Bill got me thinking .

There was a sweet house on that house makeover show which probably made me salivate – They installed motorized drapes and did a thorough job of the implementation. Each overhead light was integrated and stuff like the gate and arcade room were accessible from the many panels in the house.
I’ve been a fan of basic home automation for what seems like forever but seeing automation so integrated, it was sensational and I want everything I saw now.
We talk about having our home do fancy tasks like announcing caller ID anywhere in the house or reminding us of obligations as we leave the house. maybe some stuff is a bit out in terms of general accessibility (it should be noted that there are people that could do it) despite this stuff for example lighting and music at the touch of a button should be locally available and inexpensive recently. When I get home I will convince my financial advisor...... after which she can blame the page that got me interested: Z-Wave home automation

My conversation with Ted got me started …..

Two weeks ago this mansion on holmes on homes which almost caused me to beg my wife – It was crazy motorized drapes and performed a seriously outstanding job setting things up. It seemed like every light knew what to do and even things like the litter boxes and gazebo roof were accessible from the many panels in the house.
I’ve been a fan of Zigbee for a long time but I hadn’t even dreamed about a dream house like this, it was crazy and truly remarkable.
I always talk about letting the house do cool things along the lines of turning on the shower in the morning or voice alerting us to someone at the door. Some of this stuff is still pretty far in terms of general accessibility (although some average people could do it) despite this things for example lighting and music at the touch of a button should be locally available and inexpensive today. One more thing to do: sway the lady writing the cheques...... following which she can hold responsible the place that got me started on all this: Insteon review

My night got me thinking .

We watched this one house on EHM which probably made my jaw drop – They were using motorized drapes and had done a seriously outstanding job setting things up. Nearly every fireplace knew what the other was doing and I think even the litter boxes plus the heated floors were controlled by the house.
My wife and I have liked Insteon for ages but I hadn’t even dreamed about a house like this, it was inspiring and I want everything I saw now.
I’ve thought about letting the superhome that we live in (slight exageration) do neat stuff such as running a bath by just asking the house to or announcing the weather for the day in the morning. I’ll admit some stuff is a ways in the future (regardless of this some groups could do it) despite this more practical items for instance lighting which respond to your moods are ubiquitous and inexpensive today. This week I’m going to win over the significant other... following which she can blame the place where I found the information: ISY-99
